One Last Night

Oh Those Eyes

Shy came home from the stabby place.  I heard my folks talking and they have leaky eyes.  Shy weighs 6 pounds.  Shy has lymphoma.  I know that’s a bad word because my Momma’s Poppa recently went away because of that.

I heard my folks talking and saying they aren’t going to subject Shy to heroic measures with chemotherapy and what have you.  She already is so weak and can barely move.  Her breathing is now labored and rattling.

They brought her home so they could have one last night with her and to let her have one last night in her own home with us, her sisters.

Tomorrow they are taking her in to help Shy over The Rainbow Bridge.

  6. Oh we’re so sorry that ShyGurl has to leave you all to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Our hearts go out to you, her sisters and her bean family, ‘cos it’s gonna be hard for all of you after she’s gone. Please remember that you’ve done all you can for her through such a bad illness, and we’re sure that she’s been very grateful for all of the help that she’s received. It’s very brave of your beans to put ShyGurl first, and not to make her suffering go on too long. May she make a peaceful journey to the bridge.
    Our hearts go out to your whole family,
    {{hugs}}

    As long we we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on-in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here”.
