I am sitting here cozy with my Momma and I am so thankful for all that I have.
It's windy and cold outside. It snowed all day yesterday and then there
was freezing rain. We woke to a marshmallow cream world. It's a little deceiving though because there is a layer of ice on top of the snow.
It's snowing and sleeting again now. Here on my
Momma's lap it's all cozy but I look outside and worry about Puffalump
and the other outside visiting kitties. We've only seen Puffalump
though and I know she's trying to stay warm under the big blue spruce shown here.
My Momma takes food outside for kitties but she wishes she could bring
them ALL inside but they're so skittish and it's not really
feasible…but that's what she wishes. If they all came inside I bet
they'd want to get in Momma's lap too.
Here's Puffalump eating last night. You may have to clicky the picture to see her under the table. It sure is snowy even under the covered patio because of it all blowing.

That’s so nice of your Mommie to take care of the other kitties. I am glad you’re toasty-oasty inside on her lap! I just had a thought, could she put a big cardboard box back there that the kitties might be able to take cover in? with some towels and straw or something? I dunno. Just thinking.
The raccoons move in if my Momma does anything more than a little cat bed thingy. :-/ Boy, my Momma wasn’t happy about that! She does not like no raccoons!
ohh! you are lucky, it’s 9 degrees here and we don’t even have any cold wet stuff to play in!

Pretty but COLD! We’re supposed to get 3 storms this week. I’m glad I don’t have to travel over the holidays.
It’s so nice that your momma does what she can to take care of those outdoor babies. I bet their hearts are warmed enough to help them through the snowy weather.
Awwww…poor puffalump, all cold out there. At least she has your Mom feeding her. That’s better than nothing, truly it is. Stoopid raccoons, not making a little house possible
At first I thought you meant Gemini–that is her nickname–Puffalump. But I hope she is okay out there.
Your weather really is frightful. Freezing rain on top of snow with more snow and sleet on top of that makes for very slippery footing. I hope your Mom is very careful when she goes out. I really wish Puffalump would come in. She has been visiting for a long time and should be used to you by now. I am glad that the tree provides her with some shelter.
Hi Ginger,
It is so pretty to look at from inside a nice warm place. It’s very nice of your mom to feed the outside kitties. You might go over to the “calico girls” blog and see if their mom has any good ideas for outside cats. I think Puff’s mom also helps outside cats too.
Your friends,
Tommy and Shilgiah
Poor little Puffalump … it’s a good thing she has your Mom to feed her and know that she has a safe place to visit.Mom and Dad thought the same thing when we had visiting cats — you just want to bring them all in, but you know you can’t. But she’s doing what she can do, and that’s what matters. Keep warm!
Look at my blog… I have a present for you.
You are so kind to the other kitties! Stay warm and toasty!
That’s a lot of snow you’re getting. Stay warm and cozy.
