There are ways to get the humans up. Try licking his nose or eyelids. That usually gets a response.
Quest, You should stand on all fours on top of his tummy. It doesn’t take long for kitty feet to begin hurting and wake sleeping people up fast. My new sister, Hope showed me how to do that and it’s very effective.
