Lunch Bandit

It's a good thing Momma was home from work sick today — she was able to run outside with a bat to chase this guy away in between trying to hack up her hairball.  The bandit only got a little bit of catfood before Momma brought in the containers.

Awww, he just wanted to eat, too…

  2. That’s a good view of the bandit. Our advice, “Stay away so you don’t become a home run.”

  3. Wow, he’s pretty bold, isn’t he? Don’t let him try to eat you, Ginger!

  4. OH my! He must have been hungry!

We put an automatic feeder by the back fence for the bandits. Usually they will leave our kitty feeders alone since they are closer to our house. We feed everyone, the bandit, the squirrels, muskrats, birds, squirrels and mice. I condsider it cable t.v. for cats. They sit at the door and watch all day.

  6. Those lunch bandits can get very bold. Your Mom is getting fierce. The last time I remember her doing battle with the bandits she was using a Super Soaker.

  7. Oh my he looks like trouble! I’m sure there’s other food for him somewhere else and he doesn’t need to steal the cat food.

  8. Wow! That is a scarey looking Racoon! Is there a feral Racoon society that goes around and feeds racoons? We have a feral cat group traps, spays/neuters and releases and feeds the feral cats. Maybe there needs to be a Racoon society like that so they wouldn’t eat your outside kitty foods.
