We are in the process of moving to Colorado, wherever that is. I think it’s somewhere near Timbuktu.
The thing I’m worried about is how am I going to get there. Momma talked about having me go with her in the car but I hear that’s a really long and scary drive. Then Momma and Poppa talked about me flying and that sounds scary because I don’t think I’d like airplanes, I hear they’re even noisier than vacuum cleaners.
I wonder if I could just stay here. Hmm, no, I’d miss my Momma and Poppa.

Moving sounds scary to us, we’ve only ever lived in foster care and at the shelter (a long time ago now) before coming here.
However you get to Colorado, we hope you’ll be safe and that you won’t be alone!
Ginger’s eyes get big at the thought of it all.

I’ll take good care of Ginger. Q2 will be easier, it’s all a grand adventure to her. Mariah will holler and SCREAM the entire way. I think I’ll have to drug me.

Southern Colorado — Pueblo!
That’s not far away. About a 45 minute ride.
When my mom made a giant move long before me and when there was only Eddie, he hid under a quilt for the entire 4-day trip. Nights she had to take him out of his travel case and put him in bed under the covers, where he also wouldn’t move. Oh, it was terrible for him!
We (me and my bro and sisters) have just made a short move. Everybody screamed the whole way. And me, I didn’t want to leave the house at all!
Hmmm, maybe Ginger could hide under a blanket the whole way…
Riding in the car isn’t scary if your Mommy is with you, just take some toys, a favorite blanket, and of course, some catnip! You can sleep a lot, then nom some catnips, then sleep some more! it could be fun!

I’ve moved so many times now…long car trips kinda suck, but at least you’re not cargo when the car goes (hahahahaha.) You won’t like it, but it’ll be all right. Just remember to complain the whole way. The people like that, because then they know you’re still breathing…
